Here at The Bridge, our student ministry is an active and vital part of who we are as a church. We seek to provide not only a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn, but to challenge them in their walk with Christ as we model, train, and encourage them to be fully devoted disciples of Jesus.

Wednesdays // 6pm

Our Wednesday night gathering is the focal point for student ministries. We serve children and students from Kindergarten at our main campus and 6th to 12th grade at The Bridge Student Center across the street with a small meal, dynamic worship, and sound Biblical teaching. We seek for our ministry to be more than just a fun place to hang out, but a place and time to carry out the Great Commission as we make disciples.

Current Series

Think about your favorite adventure stories where friends go on epic journeys, face challenges, and stick together through it all. Those stories make you wonder: Do I have friends like that? Am I that kind of friend? We all want solid friendships with people who stick with us no matter what life brings, and the Bible gives us wisdom about how to build those relationships. In this 4-week series from the Old and New Testaments, we’ll explore what God has to say about how we can have—and be—good friends. We'll see how every friend will influence you, how wise friends will help guide you, that good friends are worth fighting for, and that you'll always have a friend in Jesus.

BIG IDEAS & BIBLE STORIES

  2. Wise friends will help guide you. (Walk With the Wise: Proverbs 13:20; I Kings 3:3–14; Psalm 1:1–3)

WEEKLY CURRICULUM SUMMARIES:

  1. This week, we explore how Priscilla and Aquila helped guide Apollos to follow Jesus' way and hear wise words on letting thoughtful feedback influence us. The most legendary adventure stories reach a point when one character helps another discover their potential. This week, we’ll see how Priscilla and Aquila shared what they knew about Jesus with Apollos to empower him to share the good news. Their story shows us how important it is to have friends who help us grow because every friend will influence you.

  2. This week, we’ll see how Solomon asked God for wisdom to lead well and explore proverbs that remind us to wisely choose our friends. Following a trusted ally or being misled by a reckless person can be the difference between finding treasure or getting trapped. This week, we’ll see how King Rehoboam’s choice to take bad advice led to trouble and how the right friends help us grow in faith. Surrounding ourselves with those who point us to what’s right reminds us that wise friends will help guide us.

  3. This week, Paul and Barnabas had such a sharp disagreement that they went separate ways, but later showed that broken friendships can be repaired. Strong friendships form through journeys that face storms and disagreements, but they’re worth holding onto. This week, we’ll see how Paul and Barnabas’s conflict led them down different paths, yet later repair showed the value of sticking together... reminding us good friends are worth fighting for.

  4. This week, Jesus reminds us that friends love one another as he loves us, and Proverbs reveals God as a faithful friend who never leaves. Great adventure stories tell about friends who have each other’s backs and stick together no matter what. This week, we’ll see how Jesus calls us to love others the way he loves us and how God’s faithfulness is the ultimate example of an unshakable friend. Jesus chose us to be his friends, and that means no matter what, you’ll always have a friend in Jesus!

MEMORY VERSE: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." — John 15:13 (NIV)
